Shortbread with strawberry jam

ingredients:
200 g of wheat flour T65
100 g caster sugar
100 g unsalted butter
1 medium egg
1 small jar of strawberry jam

method:


1. In a bowl, mix the flour and sugar.
2. Cut the butter into small cubes and stir into the flour with your fingertips crumbling to sand dough.
3. Fold the beaten egg and mix until you have a ball of dough.
4. Shoot and set aside in the refrigerator 30 min.
5. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 inch on a floured surface. Cut out cookies using cookie cutters ScrapCooking: first cut a cookie by pressing the base of the cutter. Cut a second cookie by pressing the base and push the punch.
6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 10 minutes in preheated oven at 180 ° C.
