a new apple cake


ingredients:
4 large eggs (yolks separated from whites)
230 grams of butter
230 grams of powdered sugar
230 grams of flour
vanilla
1 pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder to coffee
3 large peeled and cut apples into small cubes
2 tablespoons of sugar a tablespoon
20g butter
method:


In a small saucepan, melt 20 grams of butter.
Add the 2 tablespoons of sugar a tablespoon, and apples.
Stir, cover and leave on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Beat butter and sugar for 5 minutes until the mixture is creamy.
Add the egg yolks and continue to beat for 1 minute.
Add vanilla and flour, baking powder and mix gently.
Add half of the cooled potatoes and mix.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, and stir into the mixture above.
Mix gently with a spatula to avoid breaking (the egg white).
Pour the mixture into a cake mold 26 cm long, lined with baking paper.
Cover the surface with the remaining apples, and lightly press with a spoon.
Bake in preheated oven at 160 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.
Check for doneness with a knife comes out dry.
