small cakes from the art of cooking


ingredients:
150g melted butter
65 ml of oil
150 grams of sugar
1 pinch of salt
100g ground almonds
3 large eggs
500 grams of flour
2 bags of baking powder
vanilla
method:

Beat the eggs and sugar for 5 minutes at a maximum speed of mixer.
Add oil, butter, and almonds and beat for 30 seconds at the minimum speed.
Stir in flour, vanilla and baking powder.
Mix with your hands to make a soft dough and not sticky to your hands.
Cover and let stand for 30 minutes.
Spread it on a floured surface to a thickness of 1 cm.
Cut with a cookie cutter of your choice (star shape for me).
Transfer to a baking tray and brush the surface with egg yolk.
Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
