Cockerel caramelized


ingredients:
2 cockerels about 450g
1 small onion, chopped
1 good teaspoon dried ground ginger
1 can of 33 cl of orange soda
1 tsp honey
1 large bay leaf
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
salt
method:

In a pan, slice the onion finely and sauté in olive oil until translucent. Add a spoon of ginger and cook with the onion.
Put the cockerels in the casserole and let the roast, turning regularly on all sides.
 cook the cockerels in the pan .
Add the can of orange soda and bay leaf. Lightly salt. Bring to boil, reduce heat and allow to simmer cockerels twenty minutes covered. Check if it's cooked and add a spoon of honey and reduce the cooking liquid by increasing the fire.
When the sauce is smooth, correct the seasoning with salt and serve your cockerel with a good carrots in olive oil.
