Small cakes with almonds


ingredients:
250g ground almonds or other nuts
100 g chopped or slivered almonds
150 g caster sugar
2 eggs
1 grated lemon rind
1 teaspoon cinnamon

method :

In mixer bowl put two eggs and sugar and beat until the mixture whitens. Finely grate the lemon zest.
Add to the bowl of grated zest, cinnamon and powdered dried fruits chosen. Continue to mix well to obtain a homogeneous paste.
Form balls of dough, make a small hollow in the middle, put a little jam  Reseal the ball over the filling and roll in chopped or sliced ​​almonds.
Ask the balls on a baking sheet. Bake in middle of oven preheated to 180 ° C (350 F) for about 15 min. The balls should be golden and remain soft inside.
Note: These cookies can be stored for several days in an airtight container. To more easily shape the balls, make sure that your hands are always wet.
