Shortbread diamonds with green tea and sesame


ingredients:
100 g butter
125 g flour
50 g of brown sugar cane
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon of matcha tea
1 egg yolk
sesame seeds and sugar to decorate
method :
1. Remove the butter 1h before starting.
2. Mix the butter, flour, sugar, ginger and matcha tea fingertip. Add the egg yolk and form a ball of dough. Cover it with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator for 30 min.
3. Form a roll of 4 cm in diameter and roll in granulated sugar and sesame seeds. Wrap it with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 1 hour.
4. Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Cut the roll of dough into fairly thick slices and place them on a plate covered with parchment paper oven. Bake 10 to 15 minutes until the cookies are nicely browned.
