Lemon Cake


ingredients:
4 eggs
130 g sugar (2/3 cup)
80 g butter or margarine (6 tablespoons)
120 g flour (1 cup)
1 teaspoon baking powder (1 tablespoon baking powder)
untreated juice of lemon
method:
1. Separate the whites from the yolks.
2. In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar until the mixture whitens.
3. Add lemon juice, melted, flour and yeast butter.

4. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and gently fold in the preparation.
5. Divide the dough into a square pan (20 × 20 cm) or a cake pan greased and floured.
6. Bake about 20 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 degrees (gas mark 6).
7. Let it cool light lemon cake and sprinkle with icing sugar.
